Territory Determination in Business Transactions
When your sales representative who works with sales orders, creates a business transaction, and has information about the employee responsible, the territory management capability automatically determines the territory for the business transaction.
Prerequisites
You must assign an employee responsible to the territory.
The system can determine territories on the basis of the partner function category. For more information, see SAP Note 683127
.
Activities
When you create a business transaction and enter an employee responsible, the system automatically determines the territory for the business transaction. If the employee is assigned to multiple territories via position, you have the option of selecting the relevant territory. If an employee has more than one territory, you can choose the relevant one.
