Attribute sets are used to group together attributes created specifically within CRM Marketing for a marketing-related purpose. Each attribute set therefore contains those attributes belonging to a business partner that are relevant for the purpose at hand.

 

Attribute sets are used in applications such as CRM Web Channel and CRM Telesales. In CRM Web Channel, they record marketing attributes for all business partners visiting Web shops, enabling the business partner to be assigned to a segment. In Telesales, they can be used to create a segment for telesales agents.

Integration

Attribute sets are integrated in the following areas:

  • CRM Web Channel

    The attribute set is assigned to a Web shop during the Web shop maintenance. For more information, see Product Proposals in CRM Web Channel.

  • CRM Field Applications

    In the Mobile Sales application, you can assign attribute sets to business partners in the Business Partner/Marketing tile set. You can also make a mass assignment of attribute sets to target groups. For more information, see Assigning Marketing Attribute Sets to Target Group Members.

  • Master Data

    You can edit the attributes for an account in Account Management. For more information, see the business partner documentation under Classification and Marketing Data.

You can also use a range of reports to perform mass assignment or mass deletion of attribute sets. These reports partially automate the tasks associated with attribute sets.
