This function allows you to assign employees assigned to territories, directly to the required accounts. Without the assignment, employees are still indirectly linked to the account via the territory.
This aligns territory responsibility and makes it more consistent. It is especially useful in the context of creating business transactions since it is the employee responsible assigned in territory management that takes precedence.
This function is related to the accounts application.

Assign employees
You can add to the existing list of employees assigned to the account or overwrite them with the employees assigned to the territories. Further, you can retain the main position and only overwrite the employees assigned under that position.
Define relationship category between the territory employees and the accounts. This is optional. You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship management, by choosing
.The relationship category you specify in this Customizing activity is the one used when you define the relationship between the territory employees and the accounts related to the territory. For example, say you maintain employees in a territory with partner function “00000012 Sales Representative” this
partner function has relationship category maintained as “BUR002 Act. Partner Relationship”, then the relationships are created with this category, that is BUR002
.

.Assign Territory Employees in Accounts
In this example, we have assigned to account a1 employees e1, e2, e3, and e4, and territories t1 and t2. We have assigned to territory t1, employees e11, e12, e13, and e14. We use this function to now assign employees e11, e12, e13, and e14 to account a1.
Account a1 now has not only employees e1, e2, e3, and e4 but also e11, e12, e13, and e14.
