On each page, you can execute different tasks. For example, you can search for data in the search page or view business object data in the overview page.

The table below contains a description of the pages in the user interface:

Home Page

This is used as the entry point for your daily work.

The page contains your most important personal data and gives you central access to the functions you use most frequently.

You can view and edit your tasks and appointments for the day and also access your most frequently-used reports.

Work Center

This is used as the entry point for all role-dependent areas on the top level of the navigation bar.

The page contains data and hyperlinks for pages you access most frequently.

Here you can search for business objects or create new business objects.

In the marketing role, you can select the Marketing or Accounts and Products areas.

In the work center for Marketing, you can use Search to search for campaigns, marketing plans, or marketing attributes. Use Create to create campaigns, marketing plans, or marketing attributes.

Search Page

This is used to search for business objects.

You can launch the page from the second level of the navigation bar, or from the home page.

In the navigation bar under Marketing, you can launch the search page for campaigns, marketing plans, or the marketing calendar.

On the home page in the marketing role, you can use Search to search for campaigns, marketing plans, or marketing attributes.

Overview Page

This contains all the important information on a single business object and the business objects assigned to it.

From here, you can navigate to subordinate overview pages.

In certain business objects, the details are displayed as a hierarchy.

The overview page is used in two modes:

  • In display mode, you can view all data

  • In edit mode (editable overview page), you can change business object data as well as the data in most assignment blocks

Account, Contact Person, or Opportunity are business objects. You can assign other business objects, such as Partners or Products, to these business objects.

A sales order consists of single items, which are displayed in lower-level overview pages.

In the campaign, you can view campaign details as a hierarchy.

Assignment Block

This is in the overview page and contains the most important data for an assigned business object.

This data is frequently displayed in a list.

You can navigate from here to the edit page, where you can edit the data.

You can assign the business object “Contact” or “Opportunity” to the business object “Account”.

Edit Page

This helps you to edit assigned business objects.

The data is displayed in forms or tables.

In the business object “Account”, you can edit the data of the assigned business objects “Contact” and “Opportunity”.

Report Page

This contains hyperlinks to reports.

You can launch the page from the top level in the navigation bar.

In the marketing role, you can access reports on campaigns, leads, or accounts. You also have access to reports about External List Management and financial reports.

Dashboard Page

This contains business intelligence analyses and hyperlinks to more analyses.

You can launch the page from the second level in the navigation bar.

In the marketing role, the reports for campaigns contain the marketing journal or campaign effectiveness.
