You can use authorization objects to define authorizations concerning the UI configuration.
You can use the authorization object CRM_CONFIG
to
restrict authorization for UI configuration, which is based on component name,
BSP view name, UI object type, and role configuration key. You can use activity 02
CHANGE
to create, modify, and delete the authorizations with
regard to the UI configuration.
You can use the authorization object CRMCONFMODE
to
start the UI configuration directly from an application in the CRM WebClient.
Set up the authorization for your role in transaction Role
Maintenance
(PFCG).
In the Menu
tab page, select Transaction
.
Assign transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB
for
the BSP WD Component Workbench
.
Note
To use the BSP WD Component Workbench

you need to assign the authorization objects S_DEVELOP
and S_DATASET
.
To enable transport handling, you need to assign the authorization
object S_CTS_ADMI
.
Set up at least display authorization for S_DEVELOP
and S_DATASET
.
In the Authorizations
tab page,
assign the authorization object for UI configuration CRM_CONFIG
to
the authorizations in your role.
Maintain the values for the following authorization fields:
UI Object Type
(OBJECT_TYP)
Role Configuration Key
(ROLE_KEY)
Component Name
(UI_COMP)
BSP View Name
(VIEWNAME)
Activity
(ACTVT)

Enter activity type 02 CHANGE
, which
provides the options Modify, Create, and Delete.
Generate the authorization profile and assign the users.
