You can define aliases for an entity type. An alias is an alternative term used for an entity type in a different technical field.
You can display a list of the aliases for a specific entity type from the definition screen of the entity type in question by choosing Goto ® Aliases.
You can create, change or delete aliases here in change mode. To add additional lines, choose Insert -> Line. Once you have created or changed the aliases, save your work.
To delete a single alias, position the cursor on the alias in the screen Maintain Entity Type: Aliases and choose Delete line. The alias is deleted.
To delete all aliases for an entity type, choose Aliases ® Delete on the Maintain Entity Type: Aliases screen. Confirm the dialog box which appears. All the aliases are deleted and you are automatically returned to the definition screen.
