Use

To be able to create users for your Web-based applications you need to carry out various configuration activities in your backend ERP system and in your Java-based applications.

·        Determine ERP E-Commerce SU01 Logon types in Extended Configuration Management (XCM) for your Web-based User Management application

·        Maintain service users in Extended Configuration Management (XCM) for your Web-based applications

·        Define Log-on and User types

·        Carry out SU05 to SU01 user migration.

For security reasons SAP recommends you migrate existing SU05 users to SU01 users. You can do this via making a change in the backendobject-config.xml file.
