Purpose

You can use SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) reports to analyze data from SAP applications and from any other business application and external data sources, such as databases, online services, and the Internet.

This process provides an overview of how SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) reports are replicated to the mobile application. The reports are saved as workbooks and embedded business queries, which are downloaded to CRM Enterprise and from there to the mobile application.

The system receives the workbooks. You can then replicate the data to the mobile applications.

       5.      Synchronize data (CRM Mobile Client)

You can use subscriptions to distribute workbooks and related business queries from SAP NetWeaver BI to the mobile client sites. This data is made available to the mobile applications after the next ConnTrans run.

Note

Access to applications workbooks for a mobile application user is based on the role assignment function.

       6.      View analysis with workbook (CRM Mobile Client)

Workbooks are available in the BI Report Tools component of Mobile System Maintenance (MSY). You use this component to extract and view SAP NetWeaver BI reports and make them available on a mobile application. For more information, see BI Report Tools.

Users can access these reports in the Reports component of the mobile application. On execution of the report, the workbook and the embedded queries are assembled automatically from the local database and then appear in the Microsoft Excel format.
