Purpose

The business scenario Campaign Management for Utilities provides all functions that are required for processing the entire utility-specific campaigns process, from planning through monitoring and campaign analysis.

Various communication channels are available for campaign management:

·        E-Mail

E-Mail
In E-Selling, a personalized E-Mail can be sent with an optional link to a Webshop. The product catalog allocated to a campaign defines the product selection available in the Webshop. If the customer places an order, the link is used to create a connection between the order and the campaign.

·        Field Applications

If the campaign is to be executed via sales and distribution, you can create an activity for each business partner is a certain segment. The campaign is replicated, allowing the sales employee to access all the necessary information, such as product, conditions and documents.

The system also replicates the activities. If the employee creates a sales order regarding an activity, they can use the product allocated to a campaign to generate product proposals. They can also use campaign-specific conditions, and transfer these conditions to the sales order.

If a quantity allocation plan is executed, the agent can generate both product proposals and quantity proposals for the sales order. A reference to the campaign is created when entering the sales order.

·        Interaction Center (IC)

When you transfer a marketing segment to the IC, the system generates a call list, which is distributed to the individual agents in the Interaction Center. The IC agent can consequently execute all the activities allocated to him/her, and can make product and quantity proposals when creating the order. He/she can include the campaign-specific price conditions here. It is possible to create a reference to the campaign in the sales order.

The campaign-based order entry takes place in the SAP Utilities Customer Interaction Center (CIC), the SAP CRM Interaction Center WinClient (IC), or on the Internet.

The various campaign management and order entry options are described in detail in the variants for this business scenario.

Independent of the campaign management or order entry, the target costs for a campaign are transferred to the project system. This means that the actual costs can be assigned to the resulting WBS element. In this way you can already control the campaign costs during campaign management.

In addition, information on campaigns, orders and costs is transferred to SAP BW. This allows you to determine the response for the campaign after campaign management, and execute a campaign profitability check.
