Background documentation Model a Hyperlink Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

A hyperlink appears in the runtime mobile client application as blue underlined text. When the user chooses a hyperlink, the system displays another screen in the application, an Internet page, or an empty e-mail message depending on how the hyperlink was modeled.

A hyperlink comprises a hyperlink source, which is assigned to a tile control, and a hyperlink target, which is the window that appears when the hyperlink source is chosen. You can model three types of hyperlinks.

·        An internal hyperlink displays another tile set in either the current or a different mobile client application.

·        An external Web hyperlink displays an Internet page.

·        An external MailTo hyperlink displays an empty e-mail message.

Hyperlinks are created and modeled in the Hyperlink Designer for the tile containing the control associated with the hyperlink source. You can review and modify hyperlinks in the Hyperlink Designer for the target application, but you cannot create or delete hyperlinks there.
