User Interface Settings (JSP UI)
You can change certain settings for the JSP UI of the IPC directly from within the configuration. To change the settings, choose the Settings pushbutton and select the required checkbox.

This setting no longer exists in CRM order processing, it only exists in Internet Sales. If a sales order is created in the Enterprise Sales System, the price is also calculated in the CRM System.
If the indicator is selected, the price is automatically updated after every change to the configuration.
In the display, you can hide product options that are not relevant for the user, for example pricing conditions. If you select the indicator Display invisible characteristics, the system displays the values of the invisible characteristics, if required. The product options are only displayed, and values cannot be assigned.
You use this indicator to define whether the configuration data is sent to the server and checked after every value assignment, which may adversely effect performance, or whether the configuration is only transferred to the server and checked at the end of configuration.
If you select this indicator, the current configuration is sent to the server after each value assignment, so that the completeness, price, and consistency can be checked.
If the indicator is not selected, the configuration can be checked by using the Check pushbutton, or – when you exit the configuration – with the OK pushbutton.

If the Check completeness indicator is set, the configuration is automatically checked online.
You want to display the technical, language-independent descriptions of your configuration objects (products, product options, values), for example, when you clean up your configuration.
If you create your configuration model in the R/3 System, you can group together the related characteristics in characteristic groups.
If you select this checkbox, the product options are displayed in accordance with this group information. If you do not select it, the options are displayed in a list in the same sequence as in the R/3 System.
Depending on the number of options for your product, you may want to display all options with their values, or just a list of options without values. You can display the product options by clicking on the product option.
The settings can be changed in the following scenarios during interactive configuration:
· Enterprise Sales
· IPC Standalone
In the scenarios CRM Internet Sales and Internet Sales (R/3-Edition) with IPC, the user cannot change the settings. However, you can modify this behavior by using parameter settings. For further information, see the IPC Configuration Support on the SAP Service Marketplace.
