Shopping Basket 

Use

This function allows customers to manage chosen products in a virtual shopping basket.

Integration

You need the Internet Pricing and Configurator (IPC) to configure the products in the shopping basket, and to determine their prices.

Features

Identify different price components separately

Net price, gross price, freight and taxes are identified separately. This applies both to individual product prices, as well as for the total price.

Process a shopping basket

Your customers can

·        delete individual products from the shopping basket

·        configure products individually. For more information, see Configuring Products.

·        change the order quantity

Save a shopping basket (only in E-Commerce)

If customers have products in their shopping basket that they do not want to order yet, they can save the whole shopping basket. The logged on customer can access the shopping basket at any time.

Specifics for Channel Management

In Web shops for the Collaborative Showroom scenario, customers can search for a product at item level by channel partner. The prerequisite for this is they have permitted Partner Selection at Item Level when setting up the Web shop.

Note: Users in the Collaborative Showroom cannot save the shopping basket.
