Use

Planning tools such as Project Resource Planning require groupware integration to be able to notify scheduled resources of their planned assignments.

WFM Core provides groupware integration, which enables you send information about groupware objects (groupware tasks and groupware appointments) from WFM Core to the groupware and from the groupware to WFM Core.

Integration

·        Assignments are always transferred from the application to the groupware via WFM Core.

·        Data from the groupware is always transferred to the application via WFM Core.

·        Data transfer is always triggered when a user chooses the Save function.

Prerequisites

·        You use Workforce Management Core 1.0 or WFM Core in APO 4.0.

·        You run your planning tool in mySAP CRM 4.0.

·        You have set up the middleware in CRM.

·        The resources that are relevant for planning use MS Exchange 2000 or Lotus Domino 5.0.

·        The resource's e-mail address is known to the application.

·        WFM Core and the applications have the same time zone.
