You can use this business process to make calls to doctors, for example, to distribute samples of a new product on the market. You document the call to the selected doctor (customer). To do so you use Mobile Sales for Handhelds to access the relevant functions of Activity Management.

1. Create business activity (SAP CRM Mobile)
You start Activity Management in Mobile Sales for Handhelds to create a business activity.
2. Assign business partner and contact person (SAP CRM Mobile)
You assign a business partner (institution) and a contact person for this institution.
3. Maintain start and end date and time (SAP CRM Mobile)
4. Drop samples (SAP CRM Mobile)
You document the drug samples you issued in an activity journal. In Mobile Sales for Handhelds, there is only one pharmaceuticals-specific template for the activity journal. This is displayed automatically. The doctor confirms the receipt of the samples by signing their name on the handheld.
5. Order samples for professional (SAP CRM Mobile)
If you do not have sufficient samples, you can also order samples for the doctor. Your company will then send the drugs samples to the doctor at a later date.
6. Synchronize data (SAP CRM Mobile)
You synchronize the data on the handheld device with SAP CRM Enterprise.
