Purpose

Service managers need to be able to perform a wide range of analyses to ensure that they have clear and accurate information about the operations of their service organizations. On the basis of this information, they can make strategic decisions to help them to achieve their goals.

The cycle of Service Analysis begins with a planning phase in which managers plan their targets for the forthcoming year. Once planning is complete, managers monitor the success of ongoing operations using queries in the SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW). These queries provide them with an all-round view of factors such as operational efficiency, financial success, and customer satisfaction.

With the exception of Strategic Service Planning, you can perform the analytical processes described in this business scenario in the SAP Enterprise Portal for easy-to-use and quick access to analytical content.
