Process documentation Quotation and Order Analysis for Business-on-Behalf Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

In this process, you analyze incoming orders by the current month, top n customers, top n partners and top n products in your quotation and order management for business-on-behalf.

Prerequisites

You have installed SAP BW, SAP CRM and the SAP Portal.

Process Flow

        1.      CRM Enterprise provides data collected in operative processes collected via quotations and orders.

        2.      The system updates data in SAP BW during regular data extraction from CRM Enterprise to SAP BW.

        3.      You analyze orders received from the previous month that your partners have created for their customers.

As channel manager, you can display your partners’ performance based on sales volumes, as well as top orders that were created in the previous month. Orders received in the previous month that were created by your sales partners are displayed in the partner portal.  

For this, you can use the query Distribution Channel Design: Incoming Orders (MTD) (OB) (0CSAL_C03_Q0007).

        4.      You analyze Orders-on-Behalf received for the previous month that your partners have created for their customers.

As channel manager, you can display your partner’s performance and products based on product categories.

Orders received in the previous month that your partners’ employees created are analyzed per product/product category in the partner portal.

For this, you can use the query Layout of Distribution Channels: Incoming Orders (OB) (0CSAL_C03_Q0008).

        5.      You analyze the general quotation information for a specific time period.

This data can include information, for example, regarding quotation quantity, net value of quotation item and average value of quotation item.

You can carry out the analysis for quotations per partner over a specific time period.

Partner managers can get a quick overview of their enterprise’s general quotation information within a specific time period.

For this, you can use the query Channel Mgmt: General Quotation Information (0CSAL_C05_Q0100).

        6.      You analyze the accepted, cancelled, expired and open quotations per channel manager over a specific time period.

Channel managers have access to quotations, the net value of quotations broken down according to quotation status and the average values of all their partners (channel manager).

In the partner portal, an n year-comparison of quotations by status (accepted, cancelled, expired, open) is displayed for one sales partner.

For this, you can use the query Channel Mgmt: Quotation History (0CSAL_C05_Q0101).

        7.      You analyze the top n products in quotations for a sales partner within a specific period of time.

The system displays the products with the best performance for one sales partner.

For this, you can use the query Channel Mgmt: Quotation History (0CSAL_C05_Q0102).
