Condition Record
A condition record defines input and output values for a determination process.
The condition record is created or changed within condition record maintenance and selected in the determination process.
The output values are dependent on chosen input values (for example, customer, customer group, product) and are valid for a certain time period.
The system currently uses condition records as the basis for condition technique in various applications, for example campaign determination, product determination, or pricing. Using condition technique the system determines campaigns, products, prices or free goods in the corresponding application.
You define the structure of a condition record using the assigned condition table in Customizing. The condition table structures the condition record into search fields and results fields.
· The search fields represent the criteria for a determination procedure, for example, customer, customer group, product.
· The results fields are transferred to the relevant application by the system after the determination process; for pricing a price; for free-goods determination a free-goods discount; for product determination a product; for campaign determination a campaign.
