Function documentation History for Installed Base Components Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

 

Use

 

You can gain an overview of the component history in the structure view of the installed base.

This function is available in the SAP GUI.

 

Features

 

The system documents and saves changes made to components along with administrative data relating to the change; It generates change master records. This allows you to call up the following information at any point in time:

·        Who made the change

·        When the change was made

·        Whether components were moved

·        Whether changes were made to the data in component fields

·        Which changes were made in the following fields: Description, Identification, Sort String, Item, Quantity, and Base Unit.

Activities

 

Select the relevant component in the structure display of the installed base and choose Goto ® Component History.
