Generate activities for a campaign or trade promotion

® Generate Activities

You can mass generate activities for either members of a target group or, if you are working with a trade promotion, a planning customer.

If you choose to mass generate an activity for a planning customer, the system will include all business partners who belong to that planning customer. If the planning customer is a node in a business partner hierarchy, you will have the option to mass generate the activity for the hierarchy node alone or for the hierarchy node plus its child nodes.

If you choose to mass generate an activity for members of a target group, you can select a target group that is assigned to the trade promotion. You can also select multiple target groups for the mass generation.

Delete generated activities

You can delete activities that have a start date in the future, and the status open.

Update generated activities

  ® Update Generated Activities

If you change the activity template after mass generating activities, you can use this function to apply these changes to the activities generated.

These changes do not apply to any notes or attachments linked to the activities.

You can change only those activities that have a start date in the future, and the status open.
