Update Channel Inventory with Sale to Channel Partner 

Use

This function enables the system to update channel inventory with the data received in SAP CRM on a new sale to channel partner.

Features

The system updates channel inventory as explained below:

       1.      The system searches for price buckets with search attributes and price matching with the data received in SAP CRM.

The default system searches for price buckets with the same product, channel partner and price.

You can:

¡        Add more attributes to the search attributes in Customizing.

¡        Define a tolerance percentage for price buckets in Customizing. A new sale to channel partner then updates an existing price bucket even if the price bucket price is not matching exactly, but the new sale price is within tolerance limit from the price bucket price.

       2.      If matching price buckets are found, the system:

                            a.      Adds the sale quantity to the available quantity in the latest matching price bucket.

                            b.      Changes the Transaction Effective Date for the updated price bucket to the document date for the new sale data received in SAP CRM.

If a matching price bucket is not found, the system creates a new price bucket with the sale quantity as its available quantity.
