Grid Settings

The first indicator enables you to always move exactly from one grid point to another. In the second indicator, you can determine whether or not the grid view is actually visible. The third field allows you to set the width of the grid. Obviously if you use the zoom function, the grid width will adapt accordingly.

Color Settings

A color is selected by clicking on the desired color square of the color table. The currently selected color is displayed in the rectangle to the right of the color table. It can be applied to an element, including connections, grid lines and various types of backgrounds, by clicking on the square next to the respective element. If an element distinguishes between border and background, the respective square shows a border and background area. Clicking on either one area will apply the selected

color to that area only.

Counter Settings

Here you make the settings for the inbound and outbound counters associated with the campaign elements of a process model, starting with whether or not you want the counter to be displayed at all. If so, they are displayed in the bottom left or the bottom right corner, respectively, underneath the boxes representing the various campaign elements.

The counter in the left-hand corner displays the number of outbounds, and the counter in the right-hand corner the number of inbounds. The number of outbounds is always the total number of business partners contacted out of the corresponding campaign element. This figure also includes unsuccessful attempts (such as bounced e-mails). The number of inbounds can either be the number of distinct business partners that responded, or the total number of responses, also counting multiple responses of the same business partner. You can choose either option through the buttons labeled “No. of business partners” or “No. of contacts”, respectively.

The second indicator allows you to determine the horizontal distance between the two counters in relation to the box representing the corresponding campaign element. For example, if you select 100%, the two figures are placed at either end of the campaign element. That is, the distance between them is the full width of the campaign element box. If you select 50%, the two counters will be closer together. More precisely, the distance between them is half the width of the campaign element.

The third indicator then sets the vertical distance between the campaign element and the two counter figures (in pixels).

Finally you can set exactly how exactly your contacts should be counted. If you select No. of Business Partners, then each business partner responding will be counted. However, if you select No. of Contacts, then each time this business partner responds, it will be counted.
