Calculate Ship-and-Debit Claim Amount

This function enables the system to calculate the ship-and-debit claim amount.

Prerequisites

In the channel partner profile, you have specified the price to be used along with the contract rate to calculate the ship-and-debit claim amount.

·        You can set up the system to calculate the ship-and-debit claim amount for a channel partner based on any one of the following prices:

¡        Inventory cost – the system finds the inventory cost by reading the underlying resale to find out which price buckets it consumed, and determines the prices they carried on the resale ship date.

¡        Book price in contract – this is maintained in the contract.

¡        Book price on resale ship date – the system reads the pricing condition master on the resale ship date to determine the price.

·        The contract rate is carried in the ship-and-debit contract.

·        The system calculates the ship-and-debit claim amount as under:

(Price to be used – contract rate) * Claim quantity
