Searching for Territories
In CRM Enterprise you can search for territories using the locator. Choose Master Data ® Maintaining Territory Hierarchy.
You can search for territories in the locator using the following criteria:
|
Search for Territories by |
Explanation |
|
Level |
In the Level field, choose the territory level. In the Territory ID field, you enter the ID of the territory that you are looking for. You can also search generically by entering a part of the territory ID plus an asterisk. If you leave this field blank or enter an asterisk, the system will display all the territory IDs for the level you specify. Note that the lower the territory level, the more territory IDs will be displayed. |
|
Description |
In the Description field, you enter the description of the territory that you are looking for. You can also search generically by entering a part of the territory description plus an asterisk. You can narrow down your search by entering in the Sales Employee field the user ID of the employee responsible for the territory. If you leave the Description field blank, you get a list of all territories assigned to the employee. |
|
Attributes |
Here you can search for territories by certain attributes such as Country, Postal Code, Region, or Product Category ID. If you enter a business partner number in the BPartner field, the system displays all territories to which the business partner is assigned directly (that is, the business partner number is an attribute of these territories). If you select Only w/o Employees, the system displays all territories that do not have employees assigned to them. You can narrow down the search by specifying attributes. For example, you can search for all territories in the U.S. that do not have employees assigned to them. |
|
Responsibility |
If you enter a business partner number in the BPartner field, the system displays all territories to which the business partner is assigned either directly, or indirectly (that is, via an attribute, for example, COUNTRY). If you enter a product number in the Product ID field, the system displays all territories to which the material is assigned via the product category ID and the product hierarchy ID. |
