Use

You can use the cross-system lock to prevent parallel processing of distributed transaction documents in CRM Enterprise and in the SAP R/3. If a delivery is created in SAP R/3 for a transferred sales order, for example, the original document in CRM Enterprise cannot be changed at the same time. Via a Remote Function Call (RFC) to SAP R/3, information reaches CRM Enterprise, and the user receives an error message.

Integration

Prerequisites

You use an SAP CRM System, and an SAP R/3 System for sales order processing.
