Quotation and Order Management
You use this business scenario to offer, sell, and deliver products to the customer. The products are shipped directly ex stock to your customers.
The sales order is processed in SAP CRM regardless of the communication channel through which the order was entered. The sales order can be created using the following business scenarios:
· Telesales (see Inbound Telesales and Outbound Telesales)
· Internet Sales (see Catalog Management and Order Processing in E-Commerce)
· Mobile Sales (see Field Quotation and Sales Order Management with Mobile Sales)
You use this variant when selling serial or bulk products that you produce internally based on consumer- or forecast-oriented revenue or sales revenue planning, or serial or bulk products that you procure externally. Billing is delivery-related, and takes place in SAP CRM.
