Maintaining Descriptions and Long Texts in Several Languages 

Use

This is a convenient way of maintaining symptom or solution descriptions and (optionally) long texts in several languages at the same time without having to log on in that language.

Procedure

  1. Access the maintenance screen for symptoms and solutions, and, depending on whether you want to maintain a description and long text in another language for a symptom or for a solution, choose Multilingual Texts under the Symptom section or under the Solution section of the screen.
  2. In the dialog box that appears, enter the description and specify the language.
  3. You now have the following options:
      1. Click the long text icon that appears and enter a long text in the editor.
      2. Choose Back, and in the dialog box that appears, enter a description and long text in the next language, or choose Close to return to the maintenance screen.
