Changing Settings for the Web User Interface 

Use

You can change the following settings for the Web user interface:

If this indicator is selected, the completeness of the configuration is checked each time a value is assigned to a characteristic. In the configuration editor, a traffic light shows whether the configuration is complete.

If this indicator is not set, the completeness of the configuration can always be checked by choosing the Check pushbutton.

This option is only for Internet Sales, not for CRM order processing. When a sales order is created in the CRM Online system, the price is recalculated in the CRM system.

If this indicator is selected, the price is updated automatically after each change to the configuration.

If this indicator is not set, the price can always be updated by choosing the Price pushbutton.

Characteristics that are not relevant for the user can be hidden. However, you can user the Display hidden characteristics indicator to display the values assigned to hidden characteristics, if required. The characteristics are display only, and you cannot assign values to them.

You can use this indicator to define whether configuration data is sent to the server and checked each time a value is assigned to a characteristic, which may be detrimental to system performance, or whether configuration is sent to the server and checked when the configuration is finished.

If this indicator is selected, the current configuration is sent to the server each time a value is assigned to a characteristic, to check completeness, price, and consistency.

If this indicator is not set, the configuration can always be checked by choosing the Check pushbutton, or by choosing the OK pushbutton to exit the configuration.

If the Check completeness permanently indicator is set, the check is automatically run online.

The settings can be changed during interactive configuration in the following scenarios:

To change the settings, choose the Settings pushbutton and select the indicator you require.

In CRM Internet Sales and R/3 Online Store with IPC, the user cannot change the settings.
