Definition of Text Determination Procedure 

Use

You use the definition of a text determination procedure, to define which text types are assigned to this in the Customizing for text management. You can make additional settings for each text type, such as display/change and type of access sequence.

Only the text type ‘Customer description’ is allowed in the transaction ’Internet’. An additional text type, ‘Cause’, is allowed for the service transaction. You want to perform a business grouping, although the same text object (transaction) exists. You can do this using the text determination procedure.

Integration

You assign an access sequence to a text type in the definition of text determination procedure. The access sequence defines the type and sequence of access.
