Downloading 

Use

Once the transport of data has taken place from R/3 server to Middleware Server, you need to download data along with the BDocs to the Client machine. After this data is downloaded, the BDocs are modeled in the local database using the BDoc Modeler.

Procedure

  1. Choose Repository Exchange option from the menu bar and choose Create Job Sheets option.
  2. Rex Wizard screen gets displayed.

  3. Enter the name of the job sheet in Job Sheet File Name edit box.
  4. Enter a short description for the job sheet in Short Description edit box.
  5. Enter a long description for the job sheet in Long Description edit box.
  6. Choose Download radio button from Transport type radio group.
  7. Choose Next to continue.
  8. The subsequent screen of the wizard gets displayed.

  9. Choose Include Version for Download check box, if required.
  10. Choose Existing Version or New Version option from Select radio group.
  11. Choose SQL Types check box and Data elements and Domains check box as required for the transport.
  12. Choose tables from the displayed list to download. You can also select all tables by choosing Select All.
  13. Choose BDocs from the displayed list to download. You can also select all BDocs by choosing Select All.
  14. Choose Commit Job Sheet option or Commit Job Sheet and Run Immediately option.
  15. Choose Finish to create the job sheet.
