Checking SMOFPARSFA  

Use

The SMOFPARSFA parameter file is the main parameter file of the CRM Server. It contains all system control parameters, including the control information relevant to the R/3 Adapter.

Procedure

Choose Middleware ® Settings ® Define Middleware Parameters in the menu to edit and check table SMOFPARSFA.

Table SMOFPARSFA contains the following parameters:

CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION

RFC destination of the OLTP R/3 System.

This value has to be changed to the actual RFC destination.

CRM_DESTINATION_SFA_SERVER

RFC destination of the CRM Server.

This value has to be changed to the actual RFC destination.

CRM_R3OLTP_ACTIVE

Release number of the OLTP R/3 System

CRM_USE_BULK_DURING_DELTA

Ensures that the Bulk CDB Service is called during the delta download, if an X has been entered. The parameter can be set for each object. The name of the object also has to be specified under PARNAME2.

Standard value: empty

CRM_USE_BULK_DURING_INIT

Ensures that the Bulk CDB Service is called during the initial download, if an X has been entered. The parameter can be set for each object. The name of the object also has to be specified under PARNAME2.

Standard value: empty

LOG_LEVEL

Controls the level of detail of the log files.

Standard value: E

BEHAVE_WHEN_ERROR

Needed for SALESORDER upload and responsible for program behavior, if an error occurs. Following values can be assigned:

  • EMPTY: If an error occurs, the program terminates and the sales document will not be saved.
  • If an error occurs, the sales document is saved, items with errors are not processed, but are logged.
  • R: refer to P, the sales document is not saved.

INT_NUMBER_ASSIGNMENT

Needed for upload of SALESDOCUMENT. It activates the internal item number assignment.

Standard value: X

PRICINGTYPE

Specifies how the system proceeds when copying with pricing data.

Standard value: G, that is unchanged price elements are accepted; taxes are determined anew.
