A service contract can consist of one or more items. It is made up of header and one or more items.

At header level you specify:

• Business Partner data such as the partner who is to be provided with the services and the partner who is to be billed for the services
• Start and end date for a contract
• Price and Cancellation terms

At item level you specify:

• The services to be provided
• Start and end dates for a service
• Equipment data
• Status information

A service contract gives information on equipment's covered, item configuration, and additional conditions, if any.
