Creating an Application 

Prerequisites

You have logged into the required change list context.

Procedure

  1. In the UI Modeler, choose Applications node.
  2. Right-click and choose New.

    3. The Application Modeler window and Properties dialog appears.

  3. In the Properties dialog, change the properties of the application.

    4. For example, name of the application with the namespace and caption displayed on the business application.

    You must enter a Short Name for the application. This name will be used as the project name while generating run time files for this application.

  4. Save the application.

Result

You have created an empty application. You can now include business components by designing the application layout.
