Assigning a Usage Category 

Use

The usage category determines the scenario for which the target group is intended.

Prerequisites

On the Create Target Group screen, you have specified under Selection the criteria used to create the target group.

Procedure

  1. Choose Usage.
  2. Enter the usage category, usage object (relevant only for usage category Shop). Where appropriate, enter also the BW parameter ID or permanent list ID for the top n product list. For more information on top n lists, see the topics under Cross-Selling.
  3. Save your data.

Result

You have assigned a usage category to the target group, to which you may now assign business partners.
