Activating the Mobile Client Authorization System 

Use

You use this procedure to activate the Mobile Client Authorization System so that you can work with the Authorization Management Tool.

Procedure

  1. In the Administration Console, create a new user with the name Administrator. You can find further information in The User Wizard, and Adding/Assigning a User.
  2. In the Role Maintenance component of the Authorization Management Tool, rename the role SAP_AUTH_DISABLED as ***SAP_AUTH_DISABLED.

With the Administrator user, you can run with full authorization any application developed using the SAP Business Application Studio.

 

Result

The Mobile Client Authorization System is active. You are ready to create authorizations, and assign users to roles and roles to users, with the Authorization Management Tool.
