The User Wizard in the Administration Console 

Use

You use this function to define and administer remote system users (clients) as well as their login names and passwords.

The tables belonging to the node Users are sent to the various sites responsible.

User data is distributed via the BDoc EMPLOYEE_WRITE (a replication object with the same name must exist for this purpose). Only sites that have subscribed to the corresponding publication called Employee will receive this user data.

When you define a new user, there might be a delay before the new user is displayed (depending on the system load at the time). To display a newly created user, choose Window ® Refresh (or press F5).

Integration

You find the users under the node Users.

In the navigation window, you can activate the following display variants:

Selection in the hierarchical structure

Display in the details area

Users

All defined users with their first and last names.

User

Details of the selected user and information on the sites to which this user is assigned.

 

Activities

To activate the User Wizard, click either the Users node and choose Add or one of the available users and choose Edit.

The User Wizard is started, and you can add new users or assign existing users.
