Texts in Activities 

Use

You can create, change, or display different text types in an activity either for your own use or for corresponding with business partners.

Prerequisites

To process texts, you must be in the Activity Processing screen.

Features

The Texts tab page contains different text types and an area where you can enter your texts. In the standard system, the text types are for a letter and a note. You can define other text types and the sequence in which they should appear in Customizing under Basic Functions ® Text management ® Configure texts.

All the standard SAPscript Editor functions are available for processing the texts.

You can upload or download texts from your PC for each text type. You can also attach other documents to the activity, such as presentations or Internet pages.

You can send texts via email to internal and external recipients.

If you create an outbound email, the Texts tab page appears in the foreground of the Activity Processing screen.

Activities

On the Texts tab page, create the texts you require.

Use the functions in the tool bar in the activity header to:

Use the Send email function in the Partners tab page to send texts and attachments to external recipients.

 You cannot send activities to external recipients.
