Loading Objects from the PCD to the View Area

Use

You can load object catalogs from the PCD to the view area You can specify the following object types:

Roles
External Services
Master iViews
Pages
Worksets

The page catalog is not stored directly in the PCD. Pages are created with a different tool (Page Editor) and provided in the Role Editor for adding to roles and worksets.

Prerequisites

There must be objects in the PCD in order for the view area to be visible. Objects are stored in the PCD if you:

Import content (roles, pages with iViews, worksets, External Services) to the PCD.
Create new objects (roles, worksets, External Services).

Activities

Select the appropriate object type in the drop-down list under Show. The corresponding catalog is loaded into the view area.
