Personalizing the Role Editor

You call up the Role Editor's personalization functions by calling up the Personalize Page function from the Role Editor.

You can personalize the role editor in the following ways:

When a role/workset is loaded into the display area for the first time, the role/workset is displayed with the number of levels specified here.

Enter the additional levels of the role/workset to be loaded into the browser without needing to reload.

For example, if you enter 3 levels in the Initially displayed tree levels field, and 6 levels in the Initially loaded tree levels field, 3 folder levels are initially displayed expanded in your role/workset, and 3 additional elements are loaded into the browser. The user can then expand up to 6 levels without having to reload.

You define how many entries are displayed on each page in the various object catalogs in the display area here. The default setting is 14. If you set this value as 20, you see 20 roles, 20 worksets, 20 master iViews, and so on, on each page of the display area.

You can define how the technical names of the objects in the Role Editor are displayed here. They can be displayed in full, without prefix, or without the firm namespace.

Enter the default value for the original language that each object has to be given when you create it using the Role Editor.
