The Role Editor is used for the actual role maintenance. In the administrator role choose Content Admin ®
Roles.
You can find all the functions of the Role Editor in two areas:
- View area: The view area shows you existing roles, worksets, iViews and pages (view on contents of the PCD). In the view area you see all the objects that the Role Editor user can see and use.
- Edit area: In the edit area you can create and modify new and existing roles, worksets, and external services. The edit area contains the objects that you are currently editing. Another function in the edit area is the maintenance of properties of individual objects, such as external services.
