You use the attributes object type and object name to assign one or more documents to a metadata object.

The user can choose a document that he or she wants to display in the online documentation.

In the Administrator Workbench, there are various ways of editing a document for a single metadata object.

• In either the Modeling or the Monitoring function area, you can

• select a BW object, and call up the maintenance screens for this object by following the path Tools -> Display Documents.
• branch to the object maintenance screens, and use the Documents pushbutton to call the maintenance screens for the documents belonging to this object.

• In the Documents function area, you can search for a BW object, and create a new document for the object, or edit an existing one.
