Inserting a Package into a Process Chain 
Use
If you want a Reporting Agent scheduling package to be executed automatically, you can insert this application process into the run of a
Process Chain .Prerequisites
You have assigned one or more Reporting Agent settings to a scheduling package.
Procedure
Within the Reporting Agent function area of the Administrator Workbench, from the symbol toolbar, choose
Process Chain Maintenance. The Process Chain Maintenance Plan View screen appears.
Display Component, navigate to the
process chain in which you want to insert the Reporting Agent process. Double-click to select it. The system displays the process chain plan view in the right-hand side of the screen. If no suitable process chain is available, you need to create a new process chain. You can find additional information under

Process Types. The system now displays the process categories available. In the
Reporting Agent process category, you can select the following application process types:
Exception Reporting
Printing in Background
Pre-calculating Web templates
Pre-calculating Value sets

Create if you want to create a new process variant. A dialog box for entering a description for your application process appears.
Enter the description for your application process and choose
Next. A process maintenance screen appears for your application process. In the upper screen area, the system displays the following information for the variant:
The lower area, Reporting Agent Package, is used to display and enter the configuration of the respective application process.
You can make an entry in this field Enter the name of the Reporting Agent scheduling package you want to insert into the process chain as an application process. Input help is available. Save your entries.
Result
You have inserted the selected Reporting Agent scheduling package into a process chain.
