Calling External Services in the Portal

Use

You can use the properties of an external service to determine whether you start the service in the Content area (in-place) or in a separate window (external).

Prerequisites

You have created an external service and want to maintain its properties.

Activities

Find the Launch Target of External Service property in the property list for the external service.

Choose one of the following entries from the dropdown box:

'in-place' if you want the external service to be started in the Content area
'external' if you want the external service is to be started in a separate window.
