You use this InfoSource to load master data (attributes) and texts for the material group from the SAP R/3 system into the SAP BW system. In SAP BW release 3.0B, the procedure for loading the material group data (master data and texts) has changed to InfoSources with Flexible Update.

You find the InfoObject concerned, 0MATERIAL_GROUP (material group), as an InfoProvider (InfoObject with attributes and texts) under the component 0CA ® 0CA_IO Cross-application Master Data (Flexible Update).
