Assigning the Export DataSource to an InfoSource 

Prerequisites

An export DataSource has been generated and the Metadata of the source BW has been uploaded to the target BW.

Procedure

  1. Select your source system from the source system tree with a double-click. You see the source system’s DataSource tree.
  2. Use the context menu of your DataSource to choose Map DataSource to a BW InfoSource.
  3. The system proposes a suitable InfoSource. You can copy this one, select a different InfoSource or create a new InfoSource. Choose Copy.
