Purpose

Contract Management provides a general framework for depicting agreements between contract partners. The system stores these agreements as contract elements.

In Account Management (FS-AM), you can only depict contracts for bank transactions on the basis of products. Each product has attributes assigned to it in an attribute hierarchy, according to its product category.

These form the descriptive framework of a contract.

You can develop new attributes and contract elements, enabling you to adapt the system flexibly to suit your bank transactions.

Implementation Considerations

You can implement Contract Management as a back office system and link it to your previous/feeder systems and a front-end system using BAPIs.

Contract Management was developed on the basis of the Business Data Toolset (BDT) and therefore offers you extensive options of adjusting the system to meet your individual requirements.

The system provides an interface by direct input to transfer data from existing systems. You must only use BAPIs to transfer data in exceptional circumstances since they restrict processing.
