SAP Deposits Management enables you to set up complex multi-system landscapes to connect additional logical systems or user interfaces to your Account Management system and to manage objects (such as accounts) externally.

Implementation Considerations

You can connect an external logical system by means of an appropriate proxy that realizes the communication between Account Management (FS-AM) and external logical systems. In addition to numerous methods and interfaces, these proxies can each contain one or more Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) that access the settings in Customizing.

Note Note

The standard settings for the proxies and the dependent Customizing activities supplied by SAP enable you to use the same constellation as before, in which all application components are installed in one logical system.

  • If you do not wish to use another logical system, leave the standard settings unchanged.

  • If you wish to use one or more other logical systems, you need to make settings in Customizing (such as creating your own implementation for a BAdI).

End of the note.

Features

You can manage the following data outside the account-managing system and could be using multiple proxies in parallel.

For more information, see Communication Using Proxies.

More Information

  • For more information about the proxies, see the documentation for the BAdIs in the Implementation Guide of the respective component.
