Display of Product Allocation Results

Use

You can call the product allocation result from the

Delivery proposal screen (the availability check is called from the connected OLTP system).
Confirmation proposal (availability check is carried out in the simulation).

If you have carried out a combination of several basic methods, you can call the detailed display of the check types from the delivery proposal screen or the confirmation proposal screen. You can also branch from this detailed display to the product allocation result display, provided that you have carried out product allocation.

From the APO Availability Check screen choose Confirmation Proposal from Product Allocation. If you have carried out a combination of basic methods, from the APO Availability Check screen you can choose Confirmation Proposal from Check Types with Detail – Product Allocation.

Prerequisites

You made all settings for product allocations. In Customizing for the Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) select Global Available-To-Promise (Global ATP Check) ® Product Allocations.

You configured product allocation in the check instructions.

You assigned a check mode to these check instructions.

You entered the check mode and the product allocation procedure in the location-specific product master.

Features

The settings for product allocation are displayed in the upper frame of the product allocation result.

In the lower frame, you see information about the actual result. The following fields are displayed:

Schedule line
Confirmation status symbol
Product availability date
Check date
Confirmed product availability date per schedule line
Confirmed check date per schedule line
Confirmed quantity
Confirmed quantities total

The following symbols select the respective confirmation status:

The requested schedule line quantity could be confirmed.

The requested schedule line quantity could only be partially confirmed.

The requested schedule line quantity could not be confirmed.

Note that a date shift is not taken into account. Besides, the respective symbol refers to all product allocation steps together.

Further Activities

Choose...	if...
Product allocation situation	you want to branch to the product allocation overview.
Characteristics	you want to display the characteristics combinations for the completed product allocation. You can branch from this dialog box directly into the order entry. Choose Display .
Item	you want to display information on the checked item.
Legend	you want to display the explanation of the symbols.
Product allocation control	you want to display more precise information on the product allocation control.
