You maintained the settings for backorder processing. The simulation indicator must also be set in the execution mode. For further information see Batch Backorder Processing.

1. You carry out simulative backorder processing.
2. The assigned quantities are not protected by temporary quantity assignments in liveCache – they are written to the database. No orders are reported to the OLTP system.
3. The results can be checked in a log list.
4. The results cannot be processed or updated interactively.
5. Afterwards you can delete backorder processing, that is, the results in the buffer.
