Creating Hierarchies 

Use

Hierarchies are created to group master data objects in hierarchy relationships. Hierarchies are created in Customizing and can be populated with information in the system.

Prerequisites

You must create a hierarchy structure in Customizing before you can create a hierarchy.

Procedure

  1. In Customizing, choose Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) ® Master Data ® Hierarchy ® Define Hierarchy.
  2. The Change View "Hierarchy List": Overview screen appears.
  3. You can create hierarchies or schema hierarchies using New entries.
