Use the job log to check the results of a mass processing job. To generate a job log, select Generate log when you create a job. To view the job log, choose Demand Planning → Planning → Demand Planning in the Background → Demand Planning Logs in the Background.

The job log shows:

• Name of job
• Date on which the job started
• Time at which the job started
• Whether the job completed successfully (green), with warnings (yellow) or with errors (red)
• A message for every characteristic value combination that was processed in the job
• A question mark in the Message long text column indicates that a long text exists for the message. Click on the question mark to view the long text.
• Forecast error messages if the job included a forecast

You can also use the following functions:

• Show/hide all characteristic value combinations that completed successfully/with warnings/with errors
• Sort the log in order of characteristic value combinations
• Filter according to characteristic value combination or message text
• Print the current view of the log
• Download the current view
• Send the current view to the email user
• Define display variants for the log
